A: Nope—it's made for poolside use only. It’s not waterproof and should not float or be placed in water or on anything in or over the water.
Q: How does it keep my phone from overheating?
A: The built-in sunshade helps block direct sunlight, while the open design allows air to circulate around your phone. This combination helps regulate temperature far better than leaving your phone in the sun or under a towel, which can trap heat and cause it to overheat quickly.
Q: Can I charge my phone while using it?
A: Yes! There’s space for your plug-in or wireless charger (for iPhones), so you can power up poolside.
Q: Can I customize it?
A: Absolutely! Choose your favorite color (solid or translucent) and add your name, logo, or brand. It's great for gifts or promo items.
Q: Is it good for video or FaceTime?
A: Yes! Use it vertically for FaceTime or flip it sideways to stream shows or take hands-free selfies.
Q: Does it lock the phone in place?
A: No, the Poolside Butler holds your phone securely, but it doesn't lock it in. Please use caution in windy conditions, when adjusting the stand, or when removing your phone from the holder to prevent accidental slips.
Q: What comes in the packaging?
A: You get your custom Poolside Butler and phone holder. Charging devices are not included.
Q: How do I clean it?
A: Wipe it down with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or submerging it in water.

Q: Can I use it with a pop socket or grip on my phone?
A: In most cases, yes. However, if your grip or case causes the phone to sit unevenly or protrude too far from the back, it may not rest properly in the stand or function as intended. For best results, use with flat-backed phones or remove bulky grips when possible.
Q: Is it travel-friendly?
A: Totally. The Poolside Butler is compact and lightweight—perfect to pack for vacations, beach days, or pool parties.
Q: How long does it take to ship?
A: Most orders ship within 5-7 business days. Custom orders may take a little longer depending on volume.
Q: Do you offer returns or exchanges?
A: For non-custom items, yes. Custom products are final sale unless there’s a defect. Please contact us if there’s an issue—we’re happy to help.
Q: What if I want to change my customization after ordering?
A: Contact us as soon as possible! If your order hasn’t gone into production yet, we’ll do our best to make the change. However, changes are not guaranteed once your customization is submitted.
Q: Can the Poolside Butler stay outside in the weather?
A: Yes! The Poolside Butler is designed for outdoor use and can handle typical poolside conditions. However, like any tool, it will last longer if it’s not left outside continuously or in extreme weather (like heavy rain, high winds, or direct sun for days at a time). For best results, store it indoors or out of the weather when not in use.

Translucent Materials
Q: When you say “translucent,” does that mean the Poolside Butler is completely see-through?
A: No — “translucent” does not mean fully see-through like glass. It means the material allows some light to pass through, but objects behind or within it are not clearly visible. The result is a softened, frosted effect where you can partially see into the product’s structure, especially under direct light.
Q: Will the entire Poolside Butler be translucent?
A: Not exactly. The translucency will vary across the product. The exterior housing (which provides the shading) is designed with specialized layering that controls light transmission, prioritizing shade and durability. The interior phone holder, which is nested inside the housing, can feature more transparency, depending on the color selected and material behavior during production.
Q: Why does the shading portion (housing) need different layering than the holder inside?
A: Great question! The housing is responsible for protecting your device from sunlight and heat, so it’s manufactured with denser, layered walls to reduce light penetration. Meanwhile, the holder inside doesn't need to block light and can have a higher level of translucency. This design balances visual appeal with functional performance.
Q: Will a translucent color affect the shade protection of my phone?
A: Yes — to a degree. Translucent housings may reduce shading efficiency compared to opaque colors. If maximum sun protection is a priority (especially in bright or hot environments), we recommend choosing a fully opaque color for optimal performance.
